These are removable dentures which are seated on implants to give better comfort and function. It is most commonly indicated for lower denture where stability is quite often a problem leading to the dentures being in a glass of water than in the patient’s mouth!!! Implant supported dentures have better retention and comfort, thus enhances chewing potential.

At Ora Dental Care, we require minimum of 2 implants for lower arch and a minimum of 4 implants in upper arch to place the denture. Multiple appointments are required over a span of 6-8 months for completion of the treatment. The surgical procedure is done under local anesthesia and 4-6 months are required for healing and bone formation to take place around the implant. Our specialist may ask you to get some routine blood and radiographic investigations done prior to the treatment.
